  • OPIA first and foremost works with artists who are part of our community, and so the only place we accept demo submissions is via our community hub, our Discord server.

We give everything we receive a listen, though we can't respond to everyone due to the high volume of demos we receive. Should there be potential for a collaboration you will hear from us.

We highly encourage submissions from women and gender-diverse artists as well as from artists who identify as BIPOC / LGBTQIA+.

    How to submit demos:

Please take some time to familiarise yourself with the Discord community and connecting with its members.

Then see the channel #opia-demo-drop for how to submit.

    • Only links to streams are accepted, no downloads. Please make sure the link is accessible, i.e. not on private setting

    • Please only send 2-3 key tracks that best represent you or your project sonically (or, if sending a full-length album, highlight the key tracks in accompanying copy)

    • Please include a few paragraphs on yourself and why you feel a kinship with OPIA Community as well as any relevant info on the material (i.e. status of music such as if it's not yet mastered, any important timeline info etc.)

  • Want to attend/host a workshop, get involved in making a magazine, participate in a visual or composer challenge? These – and many more – are all initiatives happening within our Discord server. We whole-heartedly recommend joining the Discord community to get involved!

Please don't send demos to this email address (see above demo policy)
